Right, and protein targets should be set on a reference weight rather than current weight. Setting 1.6 g/kg on a starting weight of 130kg produces a target nobody hits on a suppressed appetite.

Saving this. It is the first explanation that did not require me to already understand it. Sending this to two other people who asked me the same thing last week.

I read this differently from anders_CPH, on substance rather than tone. I think this board over-worries about lean mass. Some lean loss is obligatory — you need less muscle to move a smaller body, and preserving mass you no longer need is not a health outcome. The question is whether strength and function held, and mine did.

Shot day Wednesday report relevant to baseline bloodwork:
Week 13. Currently on 1.0mg. Down 19 lbs from starting weight of 231 lbs.
This week's observations: Mild fatigue day 1-2 post-injection, then fine.
Labs due next week — looking forward to seeing the metabolic panel. I'll post results in the Lab Results section when they come in.
Moderator note: good thread. Keeping it here rather than moving it, because the question is general enough to be useful. Tagging this one for the weekly digest.
