Careful with treating an unchanged LDL-C as a failure. If ApoB and triglycerides both fell, the particle picture improved regardless of what the calculated LDL says.
I would rather be corrected than agreed with, if it comes to it.

Comprehensive lipid panel update relevant to the lipid panel:
| Marker | Baseline | 6 Months | 12 Months | Reference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Total Cholesterol | 244 | 209 | 189 | <200 |
| LDL | 159 | 129 | 109 | <100 |
| HDL | 42 | 47 | 66 | >40 |
| Triglycerides | 264 | 159 | 109 | <150 |
| LDL-P | 1464 | 1114 | 864 | <1000 |
The triglyceride drop is the most impressive. My cardiologist reduced my statin dose based on these results.

Advanced lipoprotein testing on the lipid panel — going beyond standard lipid panel:
| Marker | Baseline | Month 8 | Clinical Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| LDL-P | 1685 | 985 | Particle count (more precise than LDL-C) |
| Small dense LDL | 55% | 33% | Atherogenic pattern |
| Remnant cholesterol | 41 | 14 | Triglyceride-rich lipoproteins |
| oxLDL | 70 | 43 | Oxidative stress marker |
The shift from small dense to large buoyant LDL is particularly important — it represents a fundamental change in the atherogenic profile.

How long did you give it before you decided it was working?
OP back with an update, since a thread like this is useless without one.
Late follow-up. I did not do what was suggested, I did something adjacent, and it worked; posting the difference in case it matters to somebody.
