Practical tips for the next 48-72 hours:
- Sip fluids constantly — dehydration from nausea/vomiting is the main actual risk
- BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) if you feel nauseated
- OTC remedies: Dramamine, ginger chews, peppermint tea
- If you have ondansetron (Zofran) prescribed for nausea, now's the time
- Sleep propped up slightly if you get acid reflux
- Avoid fatty or spicy foods — they'll make the nausea 10x worse
And yes — set an alarm, use a med tracker app, or mark your calendar. I've seen this happen more often than you'd think with weekly injections because they're so infrequent that it's easy to forget whether you did it.

Update: It's been about 4 hours since the double dose. I'm starting to feel mildly nauseated but nothing terrible. I ate some crackers and I'm sipping water. My blood sugar on my husband's glucose monitor is 92 mg/dL which seems normal.
Going to ride it out. I just downloaded a med tracker app and set recurring alarms. This will NOT happen again. Thank you all for talking me off the ledge.

92 mg/dL is perfectly normal (70-100 fasting, up to 140 post-meal). You're fine.
The nausea will likely peak around 24-48 hours as the drug reaches Cmax. Stay ahead of it with small frequent sips and bland food. Don't try to "push through" and eat a normal meal — that'll backfire.
And to reiterate: skip your next scheduled dose entirely. Resume your normal 1.25mg the week after. Don't try to "make up" for the skipped week by adjusting the dose. Just go back to 1.25mg on your regular schedule.
Feel better soon.

Day 2 update for anyone who searches this thread in the future: Pretty nauseated yesterday evening through this morning. Threw up once last night. Today is better — just mild queasiness and zero appetite. Drinking lots of water and electrolytes. Blood sugar has been 85-105 range all day.
Definitely survivable but not fun. 0/10 do not recommend double-dosing. GET A MED TRACKER APP, people.
