Thirteen weeks at the same dose with no change on the scale, and I have gone from assuming it was the drug to assuming it was me and back several times.
What I am after is how to distinguish a genuine plateau from measurement noise and creeping intake, before changing anything.
Practical detail welcome, however dull — the duller the better.

Plateau breaking story with a stall: I stalled at 212 lbs for 5 weeks. Tried everything — calorie cycling, increased exercise, more water. Nothing worked.
What finally broke the plateau: switching from evening to morning injection. Lost 11 lbs in the next 2 weeks. Plateaus are temporary — they always break if you stay consistent.

Agreeing with CarlaRPh_TPA, and the qualification matters more than the agreement. Genuine plateaus happen too, and the mechanism is metabolic adaptation plus a smaller body. A body 20kg lighter needs meaningfully fewer calories at rest and less to move, so the deficit that produced the first phase is arithmetically smaller now. The options are the honest ones — increase the deficit slightly, increase activity, or accept the new plateau — and escalating the dose is only one of them.
Ask again with the specifics and you will get a better answer than this one.

Mine went the same way, slower.

Amazing transformation! Starting at 287 lbs, I'm now at 162 lbs after 18 months on semaglutide 2.4mg/wk. These photos show my progress at months 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18. The body recomposition has been incredible — DEXA shows 23% body fat, down from 42%...
